CleanAce Foundation and LG Electronics Champion Growth for Nigeria’s Fabricare Industry at the Hyper Masterclass Conference

CleanAce Foundation and Academy, in collaboration with LG Electronics Nigeria, has taken a bold step toward advancing Nigeria’s fabricare and dry cleaning industry through the recently held Hyper Masterclass Conference themed “Making Audacious Moves in 2026.”
The high-impact conference was organised for members of the Fabricare Professionals and Drycleaners Association (FDPA) and convened industry stakeholders, business owners, thought leaders and government representatives. Together, they explored practical strategies and forward-thinking solutions aimed at positioning the fabricare sector for sustained growth, innovation and relevance in 2026 and beyond.
The event concluded with a vibrant gala and awards ceremony celebrating excellence within the industry. Delivering a goodwill message on behalf of the Lagos State Government, the Honourable Commissioner for Wealth Creation and Employment, Hon. Akinyemi Bankole Ajigbotafe — represented by the Director of Entrepreneurship Development, Mrs. Abiose Taiwo — reiterated the government’s commitment to empowering professional associations like FDPA to drive wealth creation, employment and economic development across Lagos State.
Highlighting the role of technology in modern fabricare operations, the Head of Commercial Laundry Business, LG Electronics Nigeria, Mr. Samuel Odenusi, emphasised that reliable, high-performance equipment remains a critical driver of profitability and customer confidence.
According to him, businesses are often judged by the tools they use, and LG Electronics remains committed to equipping the industry with advanced technology that delivers efficiency, durability and consistent results.
The conference keynote was delivered by Dr. Olakunle Iyanda, Founder and CEO of Broot Consulting, who challenged entrepreneurs to adopt a proactive and strategic mindset in building competitive businesses. He encouraged participants to take bold steps, learn quickly from experience and position themselves ahead of industry shifts.
Dr. Iyanda also addressed what he described as “trust leaks” within business operations, urging operators to build transparent systems and strong team alignment. He noted that when customers trust a brand, growth becomes easier and more sustainable.
Participants also benefited from hands-on sessions addressing key business realities expected to shape the industry in 2026. These included updates on emerging tax regulations led by Mr. Gabriel Akinlolu of Fin-Goal Consulting, as well as comprehensive risk management insights presented by Mr. Peter Ajagunna of Temple Insurance Brokers Ltd. These sessions equipped attendees with the knowledge required to strengthen compliance, minimise operational risks and scale their businesses confidently.
The conference closed with a prestigious awards night recognising outstanding contributions across the fabricare ecosystem. Honourees were celebrated for excellence in public service, leadership, discipline and professional impact — reinforcing the industry’s collective commitment to quality, professionalism and community development.
